In this message, as we look at Chapter 8, we will notice something that hasn’t been seen in Jerusalem since the walls were destroyed, and that something is "passion.”
How do you respond when life is going smoothly and then God brings a difficult opportunity into your life? In this message, we are going to look at this very question and see how Nehemiah responded.
In this message, we will notice that Nehemiah had a pretty tough job of rebuilding the wall, but we will take a look at Nehemiah’s tools that he used to get this job done.
Nehemiah, Chapter 3 is a list of all of the builders who participated in building the wall of Jerusalem. It gives, in detail, who the builders are, what families they belonged to, what town/tribe they belonged to and what specific task they did on the wall. In this message, we will focus on 6 different aspects of people in this chapter to help each of us “work well with others.”
In chapter 4, everything seems to be going wrong all at once. It is one of those Murphy’s Law moments, where when everything seems to be going well, you’ve probably overlooked something. There is an epidemic that seems to be sweeping across churches, families, workplaces and neighborhoods. It’s not the bird flu, West Nile or COVID, but it has the same potential for death as these do. It is called the epidemic of discouragement. This is what is happening to Nehemiah and his work crews in this message. Join us as we jump into understanding this epidemic a little more.
In this message, we are going to be looking at chapter 6 of Nehemiah. This chapter is full of distractions and Nehemiah gives us 5 keys on how to stay focused when distractions are all around.
In this message, as we look at Chapter 8, we will notice something that hasn’t been seen in Jerusalem since the walls were destroyed, and that something is "passion.”
