In this message, we will discover the importance of making disciples and impacting the world around us as God calls us to do in Matthew 28:18-20.
In this message, we wrestle with what it means to exalt God, and what is required of His people if we are to truly exalt Him.
Over my 30+ years of ministry, I have heard people say what makes Christmas perfect for them - family, shopping, church, caroling. I have also thought about what makes Christmas just right. Christmas songs that we have heard and even sang for years try to help us capture that perfect Christmas. In fact, there is a song, that is sang by Bing Crosby, that is one of my many favorites, White Christmas. The lyrics are pretty simple, "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones I used to know. Where the treetops glisten and children listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow." Verse 2 is similar, "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas with every Christmas card I write. May your days be merry and bright and may all your Christmases be white." What Mr. Crosby and many of the others are helping us do is picture those aspects of Christmas that make it all just perfect. What, if instead of dreaming of a White Christmas, we were dreaming of a right Christmas. What exactly does a right Christmas include? -Pastor Jason Whyte
